CharacterComposer isn't an AI character builder. It is a writing coach that helps teach you the process of thinking through and building compelling characters from your own imagination. We don't create characters for you, we help you develop the skill of writing great characters yourself.
The Belief-First Approach
We guide you through character creation starting with the most important question: What does this character believe to be fundamentally true about the world? From there, we help you discover contradictions, build meaningful backstory, and only add surface details when they can carry symbolic weight.
